Port Coquitlam, Temporary Park

Small, pre-fab quarterpipe.
Description:
First of all Port Coquitlam is not the same as Coquitlam. They are two different
cities although people don't seem to realize that sometimes. Coquitlam is in the
north and Port Coquitlam is in the South where it comes in contact with the Fraser
River.
This little park is stuck in the back end of the Terry Fox Library parking lot
and is actually pretty good for how small it is. Port Coquitlam has plans for
a big, amazing new cement park that I keep hearing good things about. Well until
that gets built the BMXers and skaters of PoCo get to play around on this temporary
park. If you want to learn some stuff on a small spine the park is pretty cool.
If you have lots of pegs on your bike and you want to grind a variety of steel
objects then the park is awesome. It's more of a small street spot like under
the Cambie bridge.
Address/Directions:
I'm pretty lost when I'm in Port Coquitlam but the park is behind the Terry Fox
Library so that might help you. The library is small, it looks more like a video
store, so keep your eyes open. I spotted ramps from the road so it's not that
hard to find.
From the #7 Highway go east on Pitt River Rd. Turn right onto Mary Hill Rd. Keep
looking to your right and you'll spot the park.
