Arxan National Geopark last minute China travel deals, one of the third batch of the national geoparks approved by the Ministry of Land and Resources of P.R.C., is located in northeastern Inner Mongolia, at the southwestern foot of the Greater Xing'an Mountain Range, and covers a total area of 814 sq km.

The park features volcanic geomorphy and spring, and the highlights are: the geomorphy of volcano, spring group, moulin, and granite stone forest, the alpine lakes and the traces of plateau meanders in Quaternary period. It's a "volcano-spring" national geopark, and is an ideal place for scientific research, investigation, protection, tourism, recuperation, scientific education, recreation, and exploration.

What to See (the Main Attractions)

Tianchi Volcanic Group

There are the traces of volcanic activities in various periods. Particularly, the basalt activities in different stages of Quaternary period have formed widely distributed lava geomorphy on an imposing scale. The volcanic rocks are in unique patterns China vacations, and with integrated structure.

Spring Group

Four spring groups have been found in the area, altogether 76 springs, which are classified into: cold spring, warm spring, hot spring, and high-heat spring. With rich microelements, the water has high health value.
